Join us on a snorkel excursion to Turtle Canyon, a set of coral reefs that act as a cleaning station for the Hawaiian green sea turtles that migrate between the islands. Explore the reefs and all of the docile marine life that calls them home, where you will find yourself floating alongside turtles, and possibly spotting He’e (octopus), Ka Hoku Kai (starfish), and other marine life native to the Hawaiian islands. Our staff will be there every step of the way, guiding you to the best spots, offering to take photos, and most importantly, providing assistance in the water (if needed).

H Tours Hawaii is a "one stop shop" for all the best activities in the Hawaiian Islands. Since we work with many providers, reservations are necessary. WE HIGHLY recommend making reservations, as many activities are at a discount when you reserve in advance. Some providers even charge higher for those "walking in" because they know chances are you're not going to walk away. Finally, a reservation ensures you have a space on the tour. Trust us you don't want to spend so much time and money to come to Hawaii and then miss out on an activity because they were booked out!

Most companies, if not all, require you to call them if you're trying to book something 2-3 days in advance. Do you really want to be spending your valuable time in Hawaii calling around to desperately find something that is available to do? While we can usually accommodate most last-minute bookings, we highly encourage those that are checking out our website far in advance to book 2-3 weeks prior to desired date. You never know if there's a convention, special event, or an increase in overall visitors in town, and it would be a shame if the activities that you want to do are sold out because you waited until the last minute. Basically, if you know you want to do it, just book it!
Great question! This particular tour goes out in the deeper water. Every time I have gone there have been turtles everywhere and I've taken some very closeup shots. Bear in mind, its nature so the quantity of turtles is always unpredictable. With the "Circle Island Turtle Snorkel" tour you can notice from the pictures, its done in shallow water. This tour would be a better chance of getting close up pictures. They are usually also basking on the beach as well. Hope this helps!
Most companies have a set of centrally located hotels that they do pick ups from. When you select your hotel in the booking page, you will see the pickup location and directions. This makes the pickup process short so you can start the tour as soon as possible!
Yes! You will have a life vest, so they will be able to float. Every time I've gone to that spot I've seen turtles, so it's definitely one of my favorites tours on Oahu to see turtles up close in their natural habitat!

This is a must do when in Oahu
Overall:
The crew was awesome and made it such a fun experience. Did the snorkeling and just was amazed how clear the water is and able to see the turtles and fish swimming around and near the bottom of Turtle Canyon. I will definitely do this again next time I'm in Oahu.

My family will remember Snorkelling in Turtle Canyon forever! The crew was outstanding - very friendly and fun to hang out with!! The lunch was fresh and filling... The "High Tide" was also VERY tasty! Mahalo Makani!!

Awesome time!

Laid back but super professional crew. I grew up on a sailboat and wanted my teenage girls to have a fun and positive experience out on the water...these guys delivered! They were patient with one daughter who was a bit queasy and let my more adventurous daughter take the helm for a bit. Turtle cove delivered lots of turtle sightings as promised! I will be back our next trip to Oahu.

Sail and snorkel

Was an easy pick up to the catamaran and great sail until we stopped at Turtle Canyon- got to see fish, turtles, saw a few whales while sailing. Nice time

Big Turtles!

When you see these big sea-turtles on the beach you think they never move. I booked in the hostal a snorkel-trip to turtle canyon and that is really the perfect name because I saw so many turtles and in the free ocean they really move...just amazing:D and to get there we went by a catamaran and on the way we saw dolphins. just a great half day trip and I think it is a must for people which like snorkeling!!!! ... morethank you to hostel tours hawaii

Just did the snorkel with the turtles tour and it was super dope. The crew is great and will totally crack you up. I would strongly recommend this tour for anyone. The staff at hostel tours hawaii are very friendly and helpful. Two thumbs up.

Sailing with Hostel Tours Hawaii!
Overall:
We saw baby dolphins and heaps of dolphins doing flips in the water. Being on the boat was nice and relaxing too.
