Immerse yourself in history with our Pearl Harbor Heroes Adventure tour on Oahu. Experience the complete cycle of World War II; from the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor to the surrender of Japanese forces on board the USS Missouri. No Hawaiian vacation would be complete without a stop at Pearl Harbor, and you can enjoy the entire experience on our unique Pearl Harbor Heroes Adventure Tour. Your journey through history begins as you are picked up at your Hotel and driven in comfort and style to the Arizona Memorial Visitor Center. You will be treated to a film about the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor including actual footage from that fateful day. After browsing the historical artifacts board the Navy Launch for the short ride to the Arizona Memorial, built over the sunken remains of the USS Arizona. You will be able to pay your respects and honor the 1,177 sailors and marines who lost their lives that day.

Continuing on your adventure you will enjoy an audio guided tour of one of the world’s most famous submarines, the USS Bowfin. The Bowfin is also known as the “Pearl Harbor Avenger” for the instrumental role it played the in epic Pacific battles of WWII. Then you will head over to the Pacific Aviation Museum, where you will be transported back in time in order to learn about the great aviation heroes throughout history.

Wrapping up your heroes’ adventure tour is a special guided tour of the Navy’s last and most famous battleship, the USS Missouri. Walk the decks of this massive ship and find the exact spot of the Japanese surrender in 1945. This informative tour takes you through one of the most definitive eras in world history. Your Pearl Harbor adventure ends with a return trip back to your hotel.

WE HIGHLY recommend making reservations, as many activities are at a discount when you reserve in advance. Some providers even charge higher for those "walking in" because they know chances are you're not going to walk away. Finally, a reservation ensures you have a space on the tour. Trust us you don't want to spend so much time and money to come to Hawaii and then miss out on an activity because they were booked out!

Most companies, if not all, require you to call them if you're trying to book something 2-3 days in advance. Do you really want to be spending your valuable time in Hawaii calling around to desperately find something that is available to do? While we can usually accommodate most last-minute bookings, we highly encourage those that are checking out our website far in advance to book 2-3 weeks prior to desired date. You never know if there's a convention, special event, or an increase in overall visitors in town, and it would be a shame if the activities that you want to do are sold out because you waited until the last minute. Basically, if you know you want to do it, just book it!
Most companies have a set of centrally located hotels that they do pick ups from. This makes the pickup process short so you can start the tour as soon as possible! When you get to the booking page, select the hotel you are staying at. Your confirmation email will have the pickup location which will either be your hotel, or somewhere within 5 minute walking distance.
Gratuity is never required but if you enjoyed your experience, a tip is always greatly appreciated!

  • Cancellations made 2 days before Date & Time will be fully refunded.
  • Cancellations made at a later date will not be refunded.
Terms & Conditions
  • The US Department of the Interior has declared a, "no bags" policy at the Arizona Memorial and Visitor Center. Passengers may not carry any concealing items. This includes purses, handbags, backpacks, diaper bags, etc.
  • Small cameras are permitted.
  • Allowable vital items may be placed in your pockets. Do not leave any valuables on the bus.
  • Due to ceremonies on December 7th each year, the park is closed to commercial vehicles and we do not operate our normal tours to the USS Arizona Memorial on that date.
  • Also, on rare occasions, and due to external factors outside of our control (including inclement weather and/or shortages of boat launch tickets), there is the possibility of not being able to visit the Arizona Memorial during your visit.

“Great Pearl Harbor Tour”
Overall:
With our WWII Heroes Adventure Tour, we were able to see almost everything at the Pearl Harbor Memorial, including the USS Arizona Memorial, USS Bowfin, Pacific Aviation Museum, and USS Missouri. The tour guide, Sam, was very helpful and friendly. We had a history buff and a veteran in our group so this was very special for us. I think anyone visiting Oahu would enjoy checking out the Pearl Harbor ... morememorials.

Excellent Pearl Harbor Tour
Overall:
It was excellent. The bus there was not so great, but whatever. All the tickets for all the attractions were paid for, the tour guide was friendly and helpful, making sure we were all where we were supposed to be. I never felt rushed but also not bored at the same time.

Picked up right at our hotel. Auntie Em was friendly and knowledgeable of the area and culture. Tour included the air museum, USS Arizona memorial, USS Missouri and bowfin submarine. Educational and emotional tour. Something every American should do.

So Much Information
Overall:
I was really interested in Pear Harbor, because my grandfather fought in the war. This was definitely worth it! So much info, the guides were great and really made it a better experience than if I would have gone by myself.

“A Humbling Experience”

My husband and I chose the ww2 pearl harbour heroes adventure tour which was moving,informative and entertaining! Our guide kody was brilliant he looked after us very well while giving the group ample time to explore the historical sites . The tour covered all of pearl harbour and ford island , we were extremely impressed with the respectful manner with which everything was presented ! “Pearl Harbour is a must see”

Very much enjoyed our visit from the time we were picked up by our bus driver/guide, Keao (who was brilliant and funny and even sang to us), to the time we were dropped off after touring Honolulu. Well worth the dollars to visit such an amazing tribute to those who served and died at Pearl Harbour. A very emotional journey. We were fortunate enough to have our hard cover book on Pearl Harbour signed ... moreby two survivors from that day, who give their time freely to honour their fallen comrades. Was a very memorable experience..

“Pearl Harbor Heroes Adventure Tour”

One of the highlights of our trip to Hawaii was touring the Pearl Harbor historical site. Our tour guide, Jeannie, was incredibly well informed not only about Pearl Harbor, but about life in Hawaii in general. She made a very long day enjoyable from start to finish. Pearl Harbor was everything we imagined it would be. The Arizona Memorial was particularly moving, especially the film that is shown ... moreprior to taking the navy shuttle craft out to the site itself. We saw the Bowfin submarine, the Naval air museum, and the Missouri, and were impressed at every venue. Knowledgeable guides and plenty of time to walk around on our own. All in all, a day very well spent!

The Pearl Harbor tour was fantastic!
Overall:
We went to all four of the main sights (plus the Oklahoma memorial), starting at Arizona and Bowfin. All our tickets were ready for us when we got there and the transitions were smooth. Our guide was very clear on when we needed to be at the theater for the pre-Arizona-visit film and she was always around if we needed anything. Several people on the tour (myself included) got wrapped up in the Arizona ... moremuseum and didn't have a chance to go to the Bowfin before the movie. Our guide graciously worked her schedule around to give us a little extra time to see it afterwards which was not something she had to do and was highly appreciated. 
The sights themselves were phenomenal and we had plenty of time to experience each one. With the exception of the timing at Bowfin, I never felt rushed and could explore the areas with a close eye for detail. 

P.A.T. is a great tour company and will make for a very fun day and an unforgettable Hawaiian adventure.
